Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Huaraz city center. Head southwest on Av. Luzuriaga toward Av. 28 de Julio. Continue on Av. 28 de Julio for about 1 km, then take a right onto Calle San Martín. After approximately 500 meters, turn left onto Av. 9 de Octubre and follow the road for around 2 km. When you reach the intersection with Av. Anta, turn right. Keep driving for another 5 km, and you will arrive at the location: FF7P+M27, Huaraz 02000. Be cautious of the narrow roads and keep an eye out for signs to the Mirador.

To reach Mirador de Rataquenua via public transportation, start by taking a local bus or 'combi' from Huaraz's main bus terminal. Look for buses heading toward the Calle 28 de Julio or Av. Anta; these routes usually pass near the Mirador. The ride may cost around 2-3 soles. Inform the driver of your destination; they will let you know when to get off. After disembarking, you may need to walk for about 15-20 minutes to reach the viewpoint. Follow the local pathways, and look for signs indicating the direction to the Mirador.
