If you are traveling by car from Abancay, the capital of Apurímac, head northwest on the PE-3S highway. Follow signs for Cusco until you reach the intersection with the PE-28. Turn left onto PE-28 and continue until you reach the town of Maras. Moray is located approximately 7 km from Maras. Look for signs leading to the archaeological site. To reach Moray using public transportation, take a bus from Abancay to Urubamba. Buses leave frequently from the main terminal. Once in Urubamba, transfer to a local minibus or taxi that will take you to Maras. The fare for the bus to Urubamba is around 15-20 soles, and the minibus to Maras costs approximately 5-10 soles. After arriving in Maras, you can either walk (about 7 km) to Moray or hire a local taxi for convenience.
