Car
If you are driving from Abancay, take the Carretera Panamericana Sur (Route 1) heading south. After approximately 45 kilometers, turn onto the road towards Curahuasi. Continue for about 25 kilometers until you reach the town of Curahuasi. From Curahuasi, follow the signs towards the Ruinas de Qhalispuqyo. Public Transportation
From Abancay, you can take a bus or colectivo (shared taxi) to Curahuasi. Buses are available at the main terminal and the journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Curahuasi, you can hire a local taxi to take you to Ruinas de Qhalispuqyo. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it should be around 30 to 50 soles for the trip. The taxi ride will take about 30 minutes depending on road conditions.
Walking
If you prefer a more adventurous route, after reaching Curahuasi, you can hike to Ruinas de Qhalispuqyo. The hike will take approximately 2 hours. Start from the main plaza in Curahuasi and follow the dirt trails leading towards the ruins. Ensure you have a good map or a local guide to help navigate the trails.
