Note that there's usually no secure parking in Cachora, so consider leaving your car at a local lodge or guesthouse.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From Cusco, you can take a bus to Abancay. Buses leave from the Terminal Terrestre at Av. Huayruropata. The journey takes about 4-5 hours and costs around 25-30 soles. Once in Abancay, transfer to a minibus heading to Cachora. The minibus ride will take approximately 1-1.5 hours and costs about 10 soles. In Cachora, you can find local guides or porters if you need assistance for your trek to Choquequirao.
