Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey in the city of Abancay, the capital of Apurímac. Head south on the PE-3S road towards Andahuaylas. The drive will take approximately 1.5 hours. Once you reach Andahuaylas, continue on the same road towards the town of Sancos. After about 45 minutes, you will see signs for Lanlakuyoc. Turn off onto the local road and follow the signs for about 15 minutes until you arrive at the archaeological site.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Abancay to Andahuaylas. The journey takes around 1.5 hours and costs approximately 10-15 soles. Once in Andahuaylas, find a bus heading towards Sancos. This leg will take about 45 minutes and cost around 5 soles. After arriving in Sancos, you can hire a local taxi to take you to Lanlakuyoc, which should cost around 20 soles for the short trip.
