Car
If you're driving from Abancay, head northwest on the PE-3S highway towards Cusco. Continue for approximately 145 kilometers (around 3 hours) until you reach the town of Curahuasi. From Curahuasi, take the road towards Huancarama, following the signs toward Qochas Chincanas. After about 30 minutes, you'll arrive at the site. Make sure to have cash for any potential parking fees.
Public Transportation
To reach Qochas Chincanas by public transport from Abancay, take a bus from the main terminal heading towards Cusco. Once you arrive at the Curahuasi bus terminal, transfer to a local minivan or taxi that goes to Huancarama. The total journey may take around 3-4 hours, including transfers.
