Car
If you have a rental car, start from Cusco and head south on Route 3S towards Sicuani. After approximately 2 hours, take a left onto Route 30D towards Tinki. Continue for about 1.5 hours until you reach Tinki. Here, you can park your car and prepare for the trek. Follow the signs for the Ausangate Trek, and hike towards Bosque de Piedras. The trail is well-marked, but expect to hike approximately 4-5 hours to reach your destination.

Public Transportation
From Cusco, take a bus from the Terminal Terrestre to Tinki. The bus ride takes about 3-4 hours and costs approximately 15-30 PEN. Once you arrive in Tinki, you will need to hire a local guide or join a trekking group to reach Bosque de Piedras. The trek from Tinki to Bosque de Piedras takes around 4-5 hours. Make sure to wear good hiking shoes and carry enough water and snacks for the journey.
