Car
From Cusco, drive towards Tinki, which is approximately a 3.5 to 4-hour journey. Once in Tinki, follow the signs towards the Ausangate Trek trailhead. Park your car in a designated parking area at the trailhead. From here, you will need to hike approximately 2 to 3 hours to reach Mano de Ausanagate, which is located at the coordinates 4PFF+G7, Uchullujllo 08235. Ensure to carry enough water and snacks for the hike.
Public Transportation
Take a bus or colectivo from Cusco to Tinki. The journey will take about 4 hours. Once in Tinki, ask locals for directions to the Ausangate Trek trailhead. From the trailhead, you will need to hike for about 2 to 3 hours to reach Mano de Ausanagate. Make sure to wear good hiking shoes and carry essential supplies, as the area may not have facilities.
