Park your car at the designated area near the trailhead, and prepare for a hike towards Nevado Ausangate.

To reach Nevado Ausangate via public transport, take a minivan or bus from Cusco to Tinki. Buses leave regularly from the main bus terminal in Cusco. The journey takes approximately 3 to 4 hours and costs around 15-25 soles. Once in Tinki, you can either hire a local taxi or join a tour group going to the Ausangate trailhead at Q'ampa, which should take about 1.5 hours and may cost around 50-100 soles.
