From the Choquequirao Trek trailhead, you will first need to return to the nearest town with road access, which is San Pedro de Cachora. The trek back is approximately 13 kilometers and will take about 3-4 hours. Once in San Pedro de Cachora, drive or hire a taxi towards Cusco, which is about 4 hours away. You will need to head towards the direction of F2MR+W2C, Wiracocha, Cusco 08003. Upon reaching Cusco, navigate to the location by using a GPS or asking locals for directions to 'Huaca de Pachacuteq'.
Public Transportation
After completing the Choquequirao Trek, make your way back to San Pedro de Cachora (approximately 3-4 hours of trekking). From San Pedro de Cachora, take a local bus to Cusco. Buses typically leave every hour and the journey takes around 4 hours. Once in Cusco, you can catch a taxi to Huaca de Pachacuteq at F2MR+W2C, Wiracocha, Cusco 08003. Ensure to confirm with the taxi driver that they know the destination.
