Car
From Chivay, take the road towards the Colca Canyon. Drive for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the crossroads at Coporaque. Turn left and continue on this road. After another 20 minutes, you will come to the village of Fure. Look for signs directing you to Catarata de Huaruro. Park your car in the designated parking area near the village and prepare for a short hike.

From Chivay, take a minibus or colectivo heading towards Cabanaconde. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Fure. The journey will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Fure, ask locals for directions to Catarata de Huaruro, which is about a 30-minute walk from the village. Be sure to carry cash for the minibus fare, which typically ranges from 10-15 soles.

After leaving your car or disembarking from the minibus in Fure, follow the marked trail that leads to Catarata de Huaruro. The hike is approximately 2 km and will take around 30-45 minutes depending on your pace. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and carry enough water for the hike.
