After about 10 kilometers, look for signs pointing to ‘Geiser de Pinchollo’. The geisers are located approximately 30 minutes away from Cabanaconde by car. Public Transportation
To reach Geiser de Pinchollo using public transportation, you can take a colectivo (shared taxi) from Cabanaconde. Colectivos leave regularly throughout the day from the main square. Let the driver know you want to go to the geisers. The fare is usually around 15-20 soles per person. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes depending on the road conditions and the number of stops. Be sure to confirm with the driver that they will drop you off at Geiser de Pinchollo.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and want to hike, you can walk from Cabanaconde to Geiser de Pinchollo. This hike is approximately 10 kilometers and can take 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Start by heading southeast out of Cabanaconde towards the main road. Follow the signs for the geisers, keeping in mind that the path may not always be well-marked. Bring plenty of water and wear sturdy hiking shoes, as the terrain can be rocky and uneven.
