From Chivay, head west on the main road (Route 30A) towards the Colca Canyon. After approximately 15 km, you will reach the town of Yanque. Continue on Route 30A for another 10 km until you see the signs for Mirador de Achachihua. Turn left onto the dirt road leading to the viewpoint. The last part of the journey involves a short hike up to the mirador, which offers stunning views of the canyon.

Take a colectivo or bus from Chivay to Cabanaconde, which costs around 5-10 soles. Ask the driver to drop you off at the turn-off for Mirador de Achachihua.
