Car
If you are driving, start in Chivay, the main town in Colca Canyon. From Chivay, take the road towards Cabanaconde. After about 30 kilometers (approximately 45 minutes), you will reach the intersection with the road leading to Tumbas de Yuraq Qaqa. Turn left onto this road and follow the signs for another 5 kilometers (around 10-15 minutes). The last part of the road may be unpaved, so drive carefully. Look for the signs indicating Tumbas de Yuraq Qaqa as you approach. There is no entry fee for the site.

Public Transportation
To reach Tumbas de Yuraq Qaqa using public transport, first head to the main bus terminal in Chivay. Look for buses or colectivos (shared taxis) heading to Cabanaconde. The journey to Cabanaconde takes about 1 hour, and the fare is usually around 10-15 soles. Once you reach Cabanaconde, you can either hire a local taxi to take you directly to Tumbas de Yuraq Qaqa for approximately 30-40 soles or walk the last 5 kilometers if you’re feeling adventurous and have enough time. Be sure to ask locals for directions if you decide to walk, as the path may not be well marked.
