Car
If you are driving from Cusco, take the Avenida de la Cultura road (also known as the main road out of Cusco) heading south. Continue on this road until you reach the junction with the CU-117 road. Turn left onto CU-117 and keep driving for approximately 40 kilometers. Look for signs indicating the direction to Wayraq Punkun or Mirador de Wayraq Punkun. You may need to ask locals for the exact location as it can be a bit tricky to find. There is limited parking near the viewpoint.

From Cusco, head to the main bus terminal located at Avenida 28 de Julio. Look for buses heading towards the town of Urubamba or the Sacred Valley. Confirm with the driver that they will be passing by Wayraq Punkun or nearby. The bus ride usually takes around 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at your drop-off point, you may need to take a taxi or a local mototaxi to reach the Mirador de Wayraq Punkun, which is approximately 10-15 minutes away. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand.
