Getting There

Car
From the center of Cusco, head northwest on Av. El Sol towards Av. Pardo. Continue on Av. Pardo to Av. de la Cultura. Merge onto Av. de la Cultura and follow it for approximately 4 km. Turn right onto the road leading to Puka Pukara, which is well-signposted. The archaeological site will be on your left. Parking is available near the entrance, but be aware that there may be a small fee for parking.

From the main square (Plaza de Armas) in Cusco, find the minibuses that go towards the archaeological sites like Saqsayhuamán. Look for the ones marked 'Saqsayhuamán/Puka Pukara'. These minibuses typically leave from Calle 7 Cuartones. The fare is about 2-3 soles per person. After about 15-20 minutes, ask the driver to drop you off at Puka Pukara. The entrance to the site will be a short walk from where the minibus stops.
