Walking
From the main square (Plaza de Armas) in Cusco, head northwest towards Calle del Medio. Continue straight until you reach Av. El Sol. Turn left onto Av. El Sol and walk until you reach the San Pedro Market. Once at San Pedro Market, find the bus station nearby. Take a minibus heading to Ollantaytambo; the fare is usually around 10 soles. The journey will take about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Ollantaytambo, you will need to walk to La Pirámide, which is located at the entrance of the town. Head straight towards the main road and look for signs for Ortiz Adventure Peru. It should be a short 10-minute walk from the bus drop-off point.
Public Transport
From Plaza de Armas in Cusco, walk to the nearby San Pedro Market and find the minibus terminal. Look for a bus labeled 'Ollantaytambo'. The fare is approximately 10 soles and it typically departs every 30 minutes. After about an hour and a half, you will arrive in Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, exit the bus and head straight. You will see La Pirámide (Ortiz Adventure Peru) on your left, about a 10-minute walk from the bus station.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your hotel in Cusco to Ollantaytambo. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it should cost between 80 to 100 soles. The taxi ride will take about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Ollantaytambo, ask the driver to drop you at La Pirámide, which is a well-known landmark and should be easy for them to locate.
