Start your journey in Huaraz. Head south on Avenida Luzuriaga towards Avenida Mariscal Toribio de Luzuriaga. Continue straight onto the Carretera Huaraz-Pampa de Lluclla road (PE-3N). After approximately 18 km, look for signs leading to Laguna Churup. This route will take you through the scenic landscapes of the Huascarán National Park. Follow the signs for about 10 km, until you reach the trailhead for Laguna Chaquicocha. Make sure to park your car at the designated parking area before starting your hike.
