Car
From Huaraz, drive towards the east on Avenida Luzuriaga. Continue for about 4 km until you reach the junction with the road that leads to the Antamina mine. Turn left onto this road. After about 10 km, you will see a sign for Mirador de Rataquenua. Follow the signs for another 5 km until you arrive at the viewpoint. Parking is available near the entrance.

Take a colectivo (shared taxi) from the main plaza in Huaraz heading towards the Antamina mine. The fare is approximately 5-10 soles per person. Inform the driver that you want to go to Mirador de Rataquenua. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the drop-off point, you will need to walk approximately 1 km to reach the viewpoint. Follow the path indicated by locals or any signage.
