From Huaraz, head south on Avenida Luzuriaga, and continue on this road until you reach the junction with Calle 8 de Diciembre. Turn left onto this street and follow it until you reach the intersection with Avenida Antúnez de Mayolo. Take a right onto Avenida Antúnez de Mayolo and continue straight for about 20 km. You will pass through the town of Pira and can stop for supplies if needed. After about 20 km, look for signs indicating the entrance to the Churup area. Park your car at the designated parking area. The trail to Mirador Churup begins here.

Public Transport
To reach Mirador Churup via public transport, take a bus or colectivo (shared taxi) from the main bus terminal in Huaraz that heads toward the town of Pira. The fare is typically around 5-10 PEN. Inform the driver that you are going to Mirador Churup. Once you reach Pira, you may need to walk to the trailhead, which is about 2 km from the town. You can ask locals for directions if you are unsure. The trail to Mirador Churup starts at the entrance of the Churup area.

Once you reach the trailhead at the Churup area, prepare for a hike to the Mirador Churup. The hike is approximately 2-3 hours one way, depending on your pace.
