From the main square in Huaraz, Plaza de Armas, walk to the nearby terminal for combis (shared vans) that head towards Punta Olímpica. Look for combis that display 'Punta Olímpica' or ask locals for directions to ensure you get on the right one. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the nearest stop, disembark and ask for directions to the Túnel Punta Olímpica. It's a short walk from the combi drop-off point.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can walk from the Plaza de Armas. Start by heading north on Av. Luzuriaga, then turn right onto Av. José de la Riva Agüero. Continue straight until you reach AN-107. Follow AN-107 for about 5 kilometers. The walk will take around 1.5 to 2 hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water.
