Once you enter the park, continue along the main road until you reach the Conococha area, where you will find a sign for Laguna Yanarraju. From here, take the dirt road that leads to the lake. The drive will take around 1 hour on this unpaved road. Be cautious of the terrain and weather conditions.

To reach Laguna Yanarraju using public transportation, take a bus from Huaraz to the town of Carhuaz. This bus ride typically costs around 10-15 soles and takes about 1 hour. Inform the driver that you want to visit Laguna Yanarraju, and they will drop you off at the closest point to the lake.
