Walking

From the Plaza de Armas in Huaraz, start by heading southeast on Avenida Luzuriaga towards Jr. 28 de Julio. After about 300 meters, turn left onto Jr. 28 de Julio. Continue walking for approximately 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenida Aguaytía. Turn right onto Avenida Aguaytía and walk for another 600 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenida Confraternidad. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass a few local shops and eateries. After 1 kilometer, you will see a sign for Fortaleza Purush. Follow the signs for another 300 meters, and you will arrive at Fortaleza Purush, located at CG7Q+PRX.
Public Transport

From the Plaza de Armas, walk to the nearby bus terminal located at the intersection of Avenida Luzuriaga and Jr. 28 de Julio. Look for local buses that head towards the outskirts of Huaraz. The buses are usually marked with their destinations. Take a bus that mentions 'Fortaleza Purush' or ask the driver if they can drop you off near the historical landmark. The bus ride should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you get off, follow the signs for Fortaleza Purush which should be a short walk from the main road.
