Getting There

Walking
From the center of Huaraz, start at the Plaza de Armas. Head southwest on Av. Luzuriaga for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Av. 28 de Julio. Turn left onto Av. 28 de Julio and continue for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the intersection with Av. Confraternidad. Take the second exit onto Av. Confraternidad. After about 300 meters, you will see a sign for 'Mirador Huallcor' on your left. Follow the path upwards to the viewpoint.

Public Transport
From Plaza de Armas, walk to the nearest bus stop on Av. Luzuriaga. Take a local combi (minibus) that goes towards the 'Pueblo joven Huallay' route. Inform the driver that you want to get off near the Mirador Huallcor. The ride takes about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you get off, ask locals for directions to the viewpoint, as it will be a short walk up a trail from the main road.
