If you are in central Ica, head to the main bus terminal located near Plaza de Armas. Look for buses heading to 'Tambo Colorado' or 'Huacachina', as they usually stop near the archaeological site. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Make sure to ask the bus driver to drop you off at Tambo Colorado. Once you arrive, you will see signage directing you to the entrance.

If you are staying within a reasonable distance in Ica, you can walk to Tambo Colorado. Start at Plaza de Armas and head south on Av. La Cultura. Continue straight until you reach Av. Libertadores. Turn left on Av. Libertadores and walk approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will see Tambo Colorado on your right-hand side. The walk will take approximately 25-30 minutes.
