If you are in central Lima, head to the nearest Metropolitano bus station, such as 'Central' or 'Jirón de la Unión'. Take the Metropolitano bus towards 'Matellini' and get off at the 'Barranco' station. From there, exit the station and walk towards the 'Av. Bolognesi'. Turn left on 'Av. Bolognesi' and walk straight until you reach 'Jr. Batallón'. Turn right on 'Jr. Batallón', and you will see the Bridge of Sighs a few minutes ahead.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a taxi or rideshare service like Uber. Open the app and set your destination to 'Jr. Batallón 271, Barranco'. The driver will take you directly to the Bridge of Sighs. Make sure to confirm the driver's identity before getting in.
Walking
If you are already in Barranco, the Bridge of Sighs is likely within walking distance. Start at Barranco's central square, known as 'Plaza de Barranco'. From the plaza, head towards 'Av. Bolognesi' and then turn onto 'Jr. Batallón'. Continue straight for about 5-10 minutes; you will find the Bridge of Sighs on your right.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Barranco. Head towards 'Av. Bolognesi' from your rental point, then take a right onto 'Jr. Batallón'. The Bridge of Sighs is a few minutes away by bike. Be cautious of traffic and ensure you follow local biking rules.
