Car
If you're traveling by car, start from your accommodation in Loreto and head towards the city center. Follow Av. José Quiñones and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Jirón Putumayo. Turn right onto Jirón Putumayo. Iquitos Square will be on your left at Jirón Putumayo 253. Parking may be available nearby but be prepared for possible fees.
Public Transportation
To reach Iquitos Square using public transportation, locate the nearest mototaxi or colectivo (shared taxi). These are common forms of transport in Loreto. Tell the driver you want to go to 'Plaza de Armas' or 'Jirón Putumayo 253.' The fare typically ranges from 3 to 5 soles per person. The journey will take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, the square will be directly in front of you.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of the city center, walking to Iquitos Square can be a pleasant option. Head towards the main street, Av. José Quiñones, and continue walking towards Jirón Putumayo. The square is located at Jirón Putumayo 253. It should take about 10 minutes on foot from most central locations in Loreto.
