Hiking
From Machu Picchu, start by trekking back down to the Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes) via the main trail. This will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach Aguas Calientes, follow the signs to the bus station and take a bus to Ollantaytambo. The bus ride will take around 1.5 hours. After arriving in Ollantaytambo, head towards Calle 6. Perolniyoc Waterfall is located approximately 15 kilometers from Ollantaytambo. You can either hire a local guide to take you there or use a combination of hiking and local transport. If hiking, follow the path that leads from Ollantaytambo towards the waterfall. The hike will take approximately 3-4 hours, depending on your pace.

Local Transport
Once you reach Ollantaytambo, you can take a local taxi or a moto-taxi to get closer to Perolniyoc Waterfall. Inform the driver you wish to go to Perolniyoc Waterfall (Cascada Perolniyoc). The taxi ride will take about 30-40 minutes. After being dropped off, you will need to hike the remaining short distance to the waterfall, which should take about 30 minutes.
