Walking
From the main entrance of Machu Picchu, head straight towards the central plaza. Once you reach the plaza, take the path to your right that leads you towards the Inca Trail. Follow this well-marked trail uphill for about 20 minutes. You will pass several archaeological sites along the way. Continue until you see signs pointing towards 'Camino A Machu Picchu.' The trail will lead you through lush vegetation and offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
Walking
If you are at the Intihuatana stone (the ritual stone associated with astronomy), head down the stone platform towards the main path. From there, turn left and follow the signs that indicate the way to 'Camino A Machu Picchu.' You will be walking through ancient pathways, so be sure to take your time to enjoy the scenery and historical significance around you.
Walking
Alternatively, if you are near the Temple of the Sun, exit the temple and take the path that leads you down towards the main trail. Walk straight until you reach the junction where paths diverge. Take the path to the left that leads towards 'Camino A Machu Picchu.' This route will also take you through some beautiful spots and give you an insight into the Incan architecture.
