The drive is approximately 30 km and will take around 1 hour. The last stretch before reaching Cocachimba is a well-marked road, so follow the signs carefully. Once in Cocachimba, you can find parking areas near the trailhead to Catarata Gocta.

To reach Catarata Gocta using public transportation, begin in Chachapoyas. Head to the main bus terminal and look for buses or collectivos heading to Cocachimba.
