Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving to Golden Expedition from Trujillo, take Route PE-1N southbound towards Huaraz. The drive takes approximately 8 hours. Once you reach Huaraz, navigate to Jr. José de Sucre N° 723. Look for a parking space nearby, as the streets can get quite busy.

• Bus

  To reach Golden Expedition via public transportation, board a bus from Trujillo to Huaraz at the main bus terminal. Companies like Movil Tours and Oltursa operate this route, and tickets typically cost around 40-60 PEN. The bus ride lasts approximately 7-8 hours. Once you arrive at Huaraz bus terminal, you can either take a taxi for about 10 PEN or walk to Golden Expedition, which is about a 15-minute walk. Head east on Av. José de la Rosa, turn left onto Av. 28 de Julio, and then right onto Jr. José de Sucre.

• Taxi

  If you are in Huaraz and prefer not to walk, you can take a taxi directly to Golden Expedition. Taxis are readily available throughout the city. A taxi ride from the central plaza to Jr. José de Sucre N° 723 should cost around 5-10 PEN depending on the time of day and traffic.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of Huaraz, Golden Expedition is accessible by foot. From the central plaza, head east on Av. José de la Rosa, continue straight until you reach Av. 28 de Julio, then turn left. Finally, take a right onto Jr. José de Sucre. The distance is roughly 1 km and should take about 15 minutes to walk.
