Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards the main entrance of Paracas National Reserve. From the entrance, follow the road signs towards 'Laguna de los Cóndores' for approximately 10 km. Along the route, you will experience beautiful coastal views. Once you approach the Sendero a Mirador Lagunillas, keep an eye out for a small dirt path leading off to the right, which will take you directly to Playa Lagunilla de las Algas. There is no entrance fee to the beach, but ensure your vehicle is parked safely and legally.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can catch a bus from the main Paracas bus terminal that heads towards the Paracas National Reserve. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of the reserve. From there, you will need to walk approximately 10 km towards 'Laguna de los Cóndores'. The walk is scenic but can be challenging due to the heat; bring water and wear comfortable shoes. Alternatively, you might find local taxis or mototaxis waiting at the entrance to take you closer to Playa Lagunilla de las Algas.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from your location in Paracas. Agree on a fare before starting your journey to Playa Lagunilla de las Algas. The taxi can take you to the entrance of the Sendero a Mirador Lagunillas, which is the closest drop-off point to the beach. This option is quicker and more comfortable, especially in the heat. Expect to pay around 20-30 soles for a one-way trip, depending on your starting point.
