Getting There

  • Car

    From the entrance of Paracas National Reserve, drive southwest on the main road towards Playa de Yumaque. Follow the signs for approximately 10 km (about 15 minutes) until you reach the beach area. The entrance is marked and you will see parking available near the beach. Please note that there may be a small entrance fee to access the reserve, which is around 10 soles per person.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Yumaque beach via public transportation, take a local bus from Paracas town towards Playa de Yumaque. Buses leave regularly from the main bus terminal in Paracas. The fare is typically around 5 soles per person. The bus journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Get off at the stop marked 'Yumaque' and walk towards the beach area, which is just a short distance from the bus stop.

  • Walking

    If you are already within the Paracas National Reserve and want to walk to Yumaque beach, head towards the coastal path leading southwest from your current location. It’s about a 2 km walk (approximately 30-40 minutes), so wear comfortable shoes. The path is well-marked and offers beautiful views of the coastline along the way.
