Getting there

Car

From Puno city, head northwest on Av. La Marina toward Av. 2 de Mayo. Continue on Av. La Marina, then take a left onto Av. Costanera. Follow the road for approximately 18 km until you reach Tiquillaca. In Tiquillaca, look for signs leading to the Chullpas de Chingarani, which are located about 1.5 km outside the town center. Use GPS coordinates -15.7601241, -70.1480917 to navigate directly to the site.

Public Transportation

From Puno's main bus terminal, take a minibus or colectivo heading to Tiquillaca. The fare is usually around 5-10 PEN per person. The journey takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Tiquillaca, you can either walk or take a local taxi to the Chullpas de Chingarani site, which is about 1.5 km away. Walking will take around 20 minutes.
