Walking
From the city center of Puno, start at the main square, Plaza de Armas. Head northwest on Avenida 28 de Julio. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Avenida El Puerto. Turn left onto Avenida El Puerto and walk straight for another 500 meters. You will see signs directing you towards Puerto de Puno. The harbor entrance will be on your right.
Public Transport (Bus or Minibus)
From the main square in Puno, walk to the nearest bus stop on Avenida 28 de Julio. Look for a bus or minibus heading towards the lake or Puerto de Puno. The fare will be around 1-2 soles. Once you board, inform the driver of your destination. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic, and you will be dropped off at a point near the harbor entrance. From there, walk a short distance to reach Puerto de Puno.
Taxi or Mototaxi
You can easily find a taxi or mototaxi in the city center. Approach one of the drivers and tell them you want to go to Puerto de Puno. The trip should cost around 5-10 soles. The driver will take you directly to the harbor entrance, which is approximately 2 kilometers away and will take about 10 minutes.
