Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Ollantaytambo. Head southwest on Avenida Ferrocarril towards Calle Lares. After about 1 km, turn right onto the road leading to the Depositos de Pinkuylluna. Follow the signs for approximately 2 km until you reach the entrance point, located at PPVQ+FGX, Ventiderio, Ollantaytambo. Parking is available nearby for a small fee.
Public Transportation
To reach Depositos de Pinkuylluna using public transportation, first take a collective minibus from the main plaza in Ollantaytambo heading towards Ventiderio. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes and cost approximately 2-5 soles. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop for the Depositos. From there, it is a short walk (about 10-15 minutes) to the archaeological site. Be aware of the walking path and follow any signage to ensure you stay on track.
Walking
If you are already in Ollantaytambo and prefer walking, you can reach Depositos de Pinkuylluna on foot. Start from the main square and head southwest, following the road towards Ventiderio. It will take around 30-40 minutes to walk, depending on your pace. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the path can be uneven and may involve some uphill sections.
