Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Ollantaytambo. Head south on the main road (Route 28) towards the village of Socma. The drive will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Socma, look for signs directing you to Catarata Perolniyoc. You will need to park your car in the designated area near the trailhead. Please be aware that there may be a small parking fee of around 5-10 soles.
Public Transportation
To reach Catarata Perolniyoc using public transportation, take a colectivo (shared taxi) from Ollantaytambo to the village of Socma. You can find colectivos near the central plaza in Ollantaytambo. The ride should cost around 10-15 soles per person and will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Socma, follow the signs to the trailhead for Catarata Perolniyoc. Note that the trail is a bit tricky, so pay attention to directional markers.
Hiking
From the trailhead in Socma, begin your hike towards Catarata Perolniyoc. The trail is well-marked but can be steep in places. The hike will take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace.
