Car
If you are traveling by car from Arequipa, take the Pan-American Highway (Route 1) south towards the city of Tacna. Continue driving until you reach the intersection with Route 30 in Tacna, then take Route 30 heading east towards the city of Puerto Maldonado. Once in Puerto Maldonado, navigate to AA.VV. montaña azul by entering JR. JORGE CHAVEZ, where you will find the destination at Mza A Lt24. Ensure you have a good GPS or map application for navigation along the route.
Public Transportation
To reach Puerto Maldonado by public transportation, you can take a bus from Arequipa. Look for buses at the Terminal Terrestre Arequipa that head to Puerto Maldonado. The trip usually takes around 15-20 hours, so prepare for a long journey. Upon arrival in Puerto Maldonado, you may take a taxi or a local mototaxi to reach AA.VV. montaña azul, JR. JORGE CHAVEZ Mza A Lt24. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before departing.
Taxi
Once you arrive in Puerto Maldonado, hiring a taxi is a convenient way to reach your destination. You can find taxis outside the bus terminal or call one using a local phone number. The trip to AA.VV. montaña azul should cost around 10-15 soles, depending on your negotiation skills and the time of day. Ensure you have cash on hand, as many taxis may not accept cards.
