If you are starting from the Plaza de Armas in Trujillo, head east on Jr. Pizarro towards Av. España. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach Av. España. Turn right onto Av. España and walk for approximately 500 meters until you see the intersection with Av. Mansiche. Turn left onto Av. Mansiche and walk straight for about 1 km. The Chan Chan Site Museum will be on your right at the address VWXM+XPM, Av. Mansiche, Huanchaco.

From Plaza de Armas in Trujillo, head to the nearby bus terminal located at Av. España. Look for a bus heading to Huanchaco. Board the bus, which should cost around 2-3 soles. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to stop at the Chan Chan Site Museum or look for the stop near Av. Mansiche. After disembarking, walk for about 5 minutes along Av. Mansiche, and the museum will be on your right.
