Car
If you are driving from Cotabato City, take the Cotabato City-Allah Valley Road (also known as the Cotabato-Gen. Santos Highway). Continue on this highway for approximately 33 kilometers until you reach the junction at Pualas. Turn left onto the road that leads to Lake Dapao. Follow the signs and local directions for about 10 kilometers until you reach the lake. Be prepared for some rough patches of road, so a vehicle with good suspension is recommended.

Public Transportation (Jeepney)
From Cotabato City, go to the Southbound Terminal and look for a jeepney heading towards Pualas. The fare should be around 50 PHP per person. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at the junction for Lake Dapao. Once you arrive at the junction, hire a motorcycle (habal-habal) for about 40 PHP to take you the remaining 10 kilometers to Lake Dapao. The motorcycle ride can be an adventure in itself, so enjoy the scenic views along the way.

Public Transportation (Van)
Another option from Cotabato City is to take a van from the van terminal located near the city center. Look for a van that goes to Pualas. The fare is approximately 80 PHP per person. After you arrive in Pualas, hire a motorcycle (habal-habal) to Lake Dapao for about 40 PHP. Ensure you confirm the fare before starting your ride, as prices can vary.
