Getting There

Walking
From the center of Sagada, head towards the Sagada Municipal Hall. Once there, look for the sign indicating the direction to the 'Banaue Rice Terraces.' Follow the road leading out of the town. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will reach the junction where the road splits. Take the left path leading towards Bangaan. Continue walking for about 3 kilometers. Along the way, enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and rice fields. When you reach a fork in the road, keep left, and you will see signs pointing to the Bangaan Ifugao Rice Terraces. Follow the path down to the terraces, which will be visible as you approach.

Hiking
For a more adventurous route, start your hike from the Sagada Eco-Tourism Office. Take the trail that leads down to the rice terraces. This route is approximately 2.5 kilometers and takes about an hour to hike. The path can be steep and may require some climbing, so wear sturdy shoes. Tricycle
If you prefer not to walk or hike, you can take a tricycle from the center of Sagada. Head to the main tricycle terminal near the church. Inform the driver that you want to go to Bangaan Rice Terraces. The ride will take about 30 minutes and cost around 150-300 PHP, depending on negotiation. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the rice terraces. Make sure to confirm your return ride with the driver before you disembark.
