Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the heart of Old Town, make your way to Długi Targ (Long Market). Once there, look for the iconic Neptune Fountain. From the fountain, head towards the Golden Gate (Złota Brama) located at the end of Długi Targ. After passing through the Golden Gate, continue straight on the street until you reach the intersection with Główna Street. Turn left on Główna Street and follow it for about 500 meters. You will soon see a sign for Muzeum Bursztynu on your right. The address is Wielkie Młyny 16, 80-849 Gdańsk.

  • Public Transport (Tram)

    If you prefer to take public transport, you can use the tram system. From any point in Old Town, walk to the nearest tram stop, such as 'Dworzec Główny' (Main Station) or 'Rondo ONZ'. Board tram line 3 or 8 heading towards 'Zaspa'. You will need to pay for a ticket, which costs approximately 3.80 PLN for a single ride (tickets can be purchased from ticket machines or some kiosks). Get off at the 'Wielkie Młyny' stop, which is one stop after 'Wrzeszcz'. From there, it's a short walk to Muzeum Bursztynu, just follow the signs in the direction of the museum.
