Car

If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest town, Liptovský Mikuláš. Head southeast on Route 18 (E50) towards the Tatra Mountains. Follow the signs for 'High Tatras' and 'Demänovská Dolina'. After approximately 28 km, take the exit toward 'Tatranská Lomnica'. From Tatranská Lomnica, follow the signs to Popradské pleso. There is a parking area near the trailhead, which may require a small fee (typically around €5 for a day). From the parking lot, you will need to hike approximately 1.5 hours along a marked trail to reach Popradské pleso.
Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, take a train or bus from Liptovský Mikuláš to Tatranská Lomnica. The train station is located in the center of Liptovský Mikuláš, and you can check local schedules for the most convenient departure times. Once you arrive in Tatranská Lomnica, you can either walk to the trailhead for Popradské pleso (approximately 30 minutes) or take a local taxi to the parking area. The taxi ride should cost around €10-€15. From the parking area, the hike to Popradské pleso is about 1.5 hours.
Hiking

If you are already in the vicinity of Popradské pleso, you can start your hike from various nearby locations. The most popular starting point is from Tatranská Polianka. Follow the marked trails leading to Popradské pleso, which is about a 2-hour hike. Be sure to wear appropriate hiking gear and carry water and snacks, as amenities are limited near the lake.
