Car

If you are traveling by car, head to Zakopane, which is the nearest large town to Wielka Turnia. From Zakopane, take the road towards the Tatra National Park. Follow the signs for the Dolina Kościeliska (Kościeliska Valley) and park at the designated parking area near the entrance to the valley. Parking fees apply, typically around 20-30 PLN for a full day. From the parking area, you will need to hike approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to reach Wielka Turnia, following the marked trails.

Public Transportation

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Kraków to Zakopane, which takes about 2 hours. Buses run frequently from the main bus station in Kraków. Once in Zakopane, you can catch a local bus to the entrance of Tatra National Park, specifically to Dolina Kościeliska. The bus fare is around 5-10 PLN. After arriving at the Dolina Kościeliska stop, you will need to hike for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to reach Wielka Turnia, following the well-marked trails through the valley.

Once you are at the entrance of Dolina Kościeliska, follow the blue trail markers that lead you through the valley. The trail is well-maintained and suitable for hikers of various skill levels.
