Walking
If you are starting from the Aveiro train station, exit the station and turn left onto Rua de João Mendonça. Walk straight for about 400 meters until you reach Praça da República. At the square, you will see the beautiful canal of Aveiro. Continue walking along the canal, and you will come to the intersection with Avenida de Portugal. Turn right and follow Avenida de Portugal, which will lead you directly towards the monument. After approximately 700 meters, you will find the Monumento a José Estevão Coelho de Magalhães on your left, located in a small park area.

Public Transport
From the Aveiro bus station, take bus line 4 towards São Jacinto. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop called 'Praça da República'. From there, the monument is a short walk. Head straight towards the canal, then follow it until you reach Avenida de Portugal. The monument is located about 700 meters down Avenida de Portugal on your left, set in a small park area.

If you are renting a bike in Aveiro, start from the city center at Praça da República. Head towards the canal and rent a bike at one of the bike-sharing stations. Cycle along the bike path that runs parallel to the canal. You will enjoy a scenic ride; continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach Avenida de Portugal. The monument will be on your left, surrounded by greenery.
