Walking
If you are starting from the Braga Cathedral (Sé de Braga), head east on Rua Dom João III for about 300 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Avenida da Liberdade. Continue walking straight for approximately 500 meters. You will see the beautiful buildings and shops lining the avenue. Continue until you reach another roundabout, where you will take the second exit onto Rua de São João do Souto. Continue walking on this road for around 200 meters, and Largo São João do Souto will be on your left, marked by a small square with benches and trees.

Public Transport
If you are near the Braga train station, you can take bus number 2 or 3 that heads towards the city center. Get off at the stop 'Praça da República' (Republic Square). From there, walk towards Avenida da Liberdade, which is about a 5-minute walk. Head straight down Avenida da Liberdade for approximately 600 meters, then take a left onto Rua de São João do Souto. After about 200 meters, you will arrive at Largo São João do Souto.

Walking from Arch of the New Gate
If you are near the Arch of the New Gate (Arco da Porta Nova), exit the arch and turn left onto Rua de Camoesas. Continue walking straight for about 400 meters until you reach Avenida da Liberdade. Turn right onto Avenida da Liberdade and walk for 200 meters. Then, turn left onto Rua de São João do Souto, and after a short walk of about 200 meters, you will find Largo São João do Souto on your left.
