Walking
If you're starting from the Braga Cathedral (Sé de Braga), exit the cathedral and head southeast on Rua do Raio. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach a roundabout. Take the second exit onto Avenida da Liberdade. Walk along this avenue for about 300 meters, and you'll reach another roundabout. Here, take the first exit onto Rua Dom Diogo de Sousa. After about 200 meters, you will see Arco da Porta Nova on your right.

From the Municipal Market of Braga (Mercado Municipal de Braga), exit the market onto Avenida da Liberdade. Turn left and head towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rua Dom Diogo de Sousa. Walk straight for about 600 meters, and you will find Arco da Porta Nova on your left.
Public Transport
If you are near the Braga bus station (Estação Rodoviária de Braga), take bus line 2 or 22 towards 'S. Vicente' and get off at the 'Dom Diogo de Sousa' stop. From there, walk about 150 meters back towards Rua Dom Diogo de Sousa, and you will see Arco da Porta Nova directly ahead.
