Walking
Start from the Cascais train station, which is centrally located. Exit the station and head towards Rua do Crato, then turn right onto Av. Dom Carlos I. Continue straight until you reach the coastline. Here, you will find the scenic promenade that runs along the beach. Turn left and follow the promenade, passing by several beaches and stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the Praia da Conceição beach. Keep walking along the coast until you arrive at Av. Marginal. The Forte de Santo António da Barra is located on this avenue at number 73, slightly elevated above the beach.
