Getting There

• Train

  From Cascais, make your way to the Cascais Train Station (Estação Ferroviária de Cascais). The station is located at Avenida da República, near the city center. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for the Linha de Cascais train heading towards Estoril. Trains run frequently, about every 20 minutes. Stay on the train for approximately 5 minutes, and disembark at São Pedro do Estoril Station. From the station, exit and walk towards Avenida Marginal. Turn left onto Avenida Marginal, and you will find Praia de São Pedro do Estoril a short walk away, approximately 10 minutes on foot.

• Bus

  If you prefer to take a bus, head to the main bus terminal in Cascais, located near the Cascais Train Station. Look for bus line 415, which goes to São Pedro do Estoril. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Praia de São Pedro do Estoril. After getting off, follow the signs to the beach, which is only a short walk away.

• Walking

  If you are feeling adventurous and are close to the coast, you can walk along the scenic coastal path from Cascais to Praia de São Pedro do Estoril. Start at the beachfront promenade in Cascais, head towards the direction of Estoril, and enjoy the stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. The walk is about 3 kilometers and takes approximately 40 minutes. This route is particularly beautiful, with opportunities to stop at other beaches along the way.
