From Cascais, head to the Cascais Bus Station, which is located near the Cascais Town Center. Take the bus number 403 towards São João das Lampas. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop called 'São Julião'. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Praia de São Julião. Head east on Estr. de São Julião, and you will see the beach entrance on your right.

Start at Cascais Train Station and take a train to Sintra. Once you arrive in Sintra, exit the station and find the nearby bus stop. Board the bus number 441 that goes to São João das Lampas. After about 20 minutes, get off at the 'São Julião' bus stop. From there, walk east along Estr. de São Julião for about 10 minutes to reach Praia de São Julião.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Cascais. Start by heading out of the town center towards the coast, then take the coastal path towards Praia do Guincho. Continue along the path until you reach a junction, then follow the signs to São João das Lampas. The ride will take roughly 1 hour, and once you arrive in São João das Lampas, follow Estr. de São Julião for about 10 minutes to reach the beach.

Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, you can start from Cascais. Head towards the direction of the coastal path. It's a long walk of about 1.5 hours along the coast. Follow the path until you reach the entrance of Praia do Guincho, then continue towards São João das Lampas. Once you reach the village, walk along Estr. de São Julião for approximately 10 minutes to get to Praia de São Julião.
